In my opinion:
The Black community has not had a real leader since they murdered anyone that stepped up to be a leader in the 1960s so we spiral from trend to trend and gimmick to gimmick hoping something or someone steps up to relate to as leadership.
Sadly we turn to Athletes, entertainers, bloggers. And social media people for that. That’s not their job. Michael Jordan job was to ball. He balled hard. Until we have real leaders or as a community learn what REAL leadership is, we will always feel some type of way when another black person gets rich and assume just being rich should make them want to show leadership. Not gonna HAPPEN Not gonna happen. Typically when a black person gets money and more exposure he stop doing the dumb trending shit we sometimes do in the black community. At that point we call them a sell out or can’t relate to them because they had to give up the dumb shit we cling to so they can keep their money. Think I’m lying. Get a dollar In Your pocket and everyone who knows you have that dollar would have a better plan on how to spend it. But not earn it.
